How Do I Order Through My LMS?

Follow these steps if you are accessing your Science Interactive course content through your school's Learning Management System (e.g. Blackboard, Canvas, D2L, Moodle, etc.).

1. Access your course in your school's LMS. 

The setup of your course in the LMS will vary somewhat from school to school. For example, in the Canvas course depicted below, selecting "Getting Started" will bring you to your course in the SI Portal. Other LMSs function similarly, but may look different. 

If you have any questions about where to find your course in your LMS, your instructor can help. 

If this is your first time entering the lab portal, you will need to accept the Terms of Use before being able to purchase your kit. 

2. Select the "Pay Now" button under "Make a Purchase."

3. Select "Purchase by Card."

4. Verify your name and email address. 

Your name and email address will automatically be populated in the "Shipping Address" section. You can modify either input. 

The email address populated will be used to send your order confirmation and for order tracking. You will need this email to access these later! 

5. Enter your shipping address and phone number.

6. Confirm your shipping address.

You'll see an address confirmation pop-up box. Double-check that you have correctly input the shipping destination for your kit, including the street, city, state, and zip code. Then, select "Use This Address."

7. Select your shipping method.

Select your preferred shipping methods. Both ground and expedited shipping are available. Then, select "Continue."

Once you place your order, your kit needs to be processed before it can be shipped. Processing may take up to five (5) business days. Upon completion of processing, your kit will be shipped via your selected method.

8. Review and accept the Warranty and Return Policy.

A Warranty and Return Policy pop-up box will appear. Carefully read the policy. When ready, click the check box to agree to terms and select "Next."

If your shipping and billing address are different, proceed to Step 9.

If your shipping and billing address are the same, skip to Step 10.

9. If your shipping and billing address are different, enter your billing address.

By default, the box next to "My billing and shipping address are the same" will be selected. Uncheck the box and entering your billing address. Then, select "Update."

10. Enter your credit card information.

Input your payment information, then select "Place order."

11. Return to the SI Portal to unlock your content.

You have successfully placed your order! On the order confirmation page, select the "Return to SI Portal" button. This will unlock your course materials and allow you to begin work in the labs!

Do not exit out of the confirmation page! You must select Return to SI portal to unlock your content.
