How should I store the chemicals in my kit?

Updated on

If you have pets or children, please keep the chemicals and other lab materials out of their reach.

In general, all chemicals should be stored at room temperature and out of direct sunlight, but you should always follow the individual storage requirements  found on the chemicals in your kit and refer to the Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for storage requirements on specific chemicals.

If any chemicals require refrigeration, you will see a warning label on the chemical and any requirements will be included on its SDS.
