Students familiar with lessons in SI Cloud may be puzzled at the blank Data Table in Exercise 1 of the Extraction of DNA lesson, while all of our other lessons require students to record data, images, activities, etc.

This lesson has no Data Table content.

The Data Table tab appears because the coding that constructs our Exercise pages displays one automatically, whether there is any content inside of it or not. That means that in this instance we are left with an empty Data Table tab.

In Extraction of DNA, ignore the Data Table tab, follow the procedures as listed in the exercise, and answer the questions at the bottom of the page.
